The Prowlers were born in 1996 as an Iron Maiden
Tribute Band, after about two years started to
write original “Power/Prog Metal”
songs. Soon we became popular not only in our
native Town, but all over Italy, where we still
performing Live Concerts, from the North to the
South.
We released our firs Demo CD in 1999 but recording
quality wasn’t good, so we decided to record
a second one into a Professional recording studio.
The choice has been made on “The Outer Sound
Studios”, the same were many other Italian
Metal Bands record their Albums ( Novembre, DGM,
etc…).
This Mini CD has been titled “A Descent
into the Maelstrom” and includes the song
“Incubus” , classified at 7th position
into a rank made by the readers of the Italian
magazine “Psycho!", between more than
150 underground metal bands! After more than one
year, we are still receiving good reviews from
many European Webzines!
The Bands that most influenced our songwriting
are Iron Maiden, Gamma Ray and Dream Theater,
that’s why in our music you can find a mix
between Classic, Power and Prog Metal!!
During March 2002 we recorded a new 5 Tracks
CD titled “Souls Thieves ”, this have
been sent only to Labels, not to magazines or
webzines.
At date we’ve signed a Recording Contract
with the Italian Label “Steelborn Records”
a division of “Northwind Records ) (www.northwindrecords.com)
and entered in Recording Studio to release our
Debut Album.

Now….. trying to sleep….
it’is here, and it seems me so strange!!!
Lying but flying away……
My mind is fightin’ inside
